A night of extreme glamour and honour at the 2021 Brownlow Awards had the media in a frenzy over one bold woman who dared to push the boundaries of what a black-tie gown should be. Georgia Mitchell, an NSW paramedic and mental health advocate, stepped out into the lights of the red carpet with her partner AFL player, Sam Collins. Although he was supposed to be the featured guest, Georgia stole the show in her stunning Taryn Camille gown from our BESPOKE collection, a modern A-line wedding dress with U-shaped neckline and oversized bubble sleeves, styled by the incredible Jamie Azzopardi. Yes, she wore a wedding dress. Maybe Sam will get the hint? She certainly caught the attention of major press outlets including, ABC News, New.com.au , and Yahoo! Lifestyle.
On a star-studded evening at the Howard Smith Wharves in Brisbane for the 2021 Dally M NRL awards, Taryn Carson became the beacon of light in her glamorous ivory Jacqueline Elizabeth gown, a contemporary aline wedding dress with a straight cut bodice and alluring Puff sleeves. Although she is traditionally a wedding dress, Jamie Azzopardi celebrity stylist extraordinaire, had a different plan; style the wives and girlfriends of NRL players in the most extravagant dresses to wow the crowd, and that she did. The Daily Mail says it best, “The WAG turned heads in a long white silk gown which featured ruffled sleeves and a high slit.”
Karry Knight had Australia smitten since the moment she walked on screen with her sweet demeanour and kindness shown towards her new husband and castmates. After weeks of getting to know each other intimately, it was time for Kerry and Johnny to commit themselves to each other at their final ceremony. Viewers subtly took out their tissues to blot away their tears as the couple exchanged the most genuine vows. However, those same eyes were also drawn to Kerry’s intricately beaded Cassie gown from our LUXE collection, which hugged her figure beautifully while making her shine. Cassie has art deco vintage wedding dress vibes with modern elements like an open keyhole back and fit and flare silhouette.
Although MAFS on Channel Nine is known for its shock factor as fans are left with their mouths agape as brides meet grooms they’ve never met before, Georgia Fairweather caused a stir in other ways. Her over-the-top personality dazzled viewers for many reasons, but her style truly stood out; all pink everything! At the reunion episode, after an epic breakup, Georgie showed up in the hot pink vintage KWH gown from decades past, a 90’s style mermaid dress. We dove into our treasure trove of unique dresses to find one that spoke to her personally, but let’s rewind to a time a few weeks before the reunion, the day she met her charming husband. On Georgia’s wedding day, she graced the aisle in her BESPOKE Sophie gown, a limited edition princess style wedding dress with an organza aline skirt and V-neck fitted bodice with hand-beaded detailing. For her third KWH number, Georgia donned the sparkly Ellie gown for her commitment ceremony. She looked incredible in her fit and flare sequin wedding dress with lace-up back.

Sydney cool girl and model Laura Dewit rocked our bridal suit for the Million Dollar Beard Ball in Sydney. Beard Season founder Jimmy Niggles and billionaire businessman Justin Hemmes hosted the charity ball, which was held at the Ivy Ballroom and MC’d by Hamish Blake. Proceeds of the gala went towards saving lives through the World’s first National skin check program.
Have you ever seen a more sophisticated bride? Sydney Model, DJ and Presenter Demi Bryant is no stranger to the sudden twists and turns of life with COVID. After getting engaged to her long-time beau, James, she knew she couldn’t wait any longer but would be hindered by safety restrictions. In the most intimate, divine elopement, the two wed surrounded by their relatives at their minimalist city ceremony. Demi, being a uber-successful model, had to arrive in style! The straight-legged Danielle Pant exaggerated her elegant long legs, while her top was sultry in her Charlie Jacket with nothing underneath. Knowing that one day she would have a larger more elaborate ceremony and reception, Demi wanted to play it cool in her simply sleek bridal suit made for a boss babe. With her anti bride look, she made headlines on Hello May and of course you can view Demi James’ minimalist Sydney wedding on our Journal.

This American born but newly Italy based body positivity icon honoured us by including us in her inner circle for her destination wedding at the Amalfi Coast, Italy. Danae is known for her incredibly realistic and raw attitude towards societal pressures plaguing women in the media today. Boasting a social media presence of over 2 million followers, her before and after images of the realities, or should we say lies, of social media beauty trends have captured a global audience.
Along her bridal journey, she taught unconditional self-love and never put unrealistic pressure on ourselves to look like a different person on our own wedding day. However, during her three-day wedding extravaganza, she was absolutely a goddess.
As guests explored the stunning coastline and got to know each other more intimately, the day before, she wore our chic Grace Mini to socialise. This darling ensemble is short, strapless, and simple, making it the perfect bridal dress to enjoy the day. In a dramatic change of attire for the evening dinner at Monastero Santa Rosa, she donned the striking and ever-so-sexy Sage gown, a silk slip wedding dress with feather tassels. To make the dress even more effortless, she hemmed the long train to allow for movement. If you’re dying to see more from her spectacular wedding events, check out Brides.com.

Together, Maddi and her fiance Kurtley Beale, a former Wallaby full-back created the most gorgeous and inclusive wedding at Swifts House in Darling Point. The couple blended their cultures by having an Indigenous ceremony at the outdoor gardens to honour Kurtley’s heritage. Being an experienced sports manager for the AFL and FFA, Maddi met Kurtley at a prestigious Waterpolo event in Sydney, where many of sports greatest names were in attendance. The two hit it off immediately and quickly became inseparable. Six years later, she walked down the aisle to the sound of a didgeridoo in her non-traditional Daisy gown from our WILD HEARTS collection. Her soft A-line wedding dress moved effortlessly with her as she glided towards the alter. The Daisy gown is a modern wedding dress with a square neckline and chiffon skirt. Her ethereal look even captured the hearts of VOGUE Bride.

Ange Anderson was the picture of femininity as she entered into a covalent with her love, Josh, at their intimate Maleny Manor wedding. She exuded pure joy as the day’s events created beautiful memories for a lifetime. Ange is known for her delightful, bubbly character as a host on the popular radio station, NovaFM, so we knew she needed a dress to match. On her day, she wore the simple crepe Imogen gown with added long sleeves that let her personality do the talking. It is a conservative wedding dress with a bit of edge created by her V-neck and fitted silhouette fit for a modern, classy bride.
