Danni & Mark’s Blissful Whitsundays Wedding
Danni and Mark have grown together as individuals and as a couple. Their relationship has stood through the test of time - they met when they were only teenagers through mutual friends–something rare to find.
The stunning Townsville couple wed in the Whitsundays, a wedding location many of us could only DREAM about.
On the proposal
The proposal took place on Whitehaven Beach, Whitsundays. Not only is the Whitsundays dreamy, tropical and a bucket list destination, it also has a sentimental connection to Danni as her parents got engaged in the very same spot, 30 years ago.
On the venue
The high school sweethearts also exchanged their vows in the Whitsundays. The location is, of course, one of Danni and Mark’s favourite places and you can see why. They also loved the idea of a destination wedding without going too much of a distance. Spending an extra few days after their nuptials with their family and closest friends to prolong the celebration was a highlight for Danni and Mark.
All the styling details
Danni wanted to create a look that was timeless, understated and yet stunning all at once. The theme and inspiration of the wedding was simple and elegant. To make the day even more magical, there were fireworks at the end of their first dance which was a highlight for the couple.
The Dress
Danni made the trip down from Townsville to visit our Brisbane boutique after seeing KWH on Instagram. It was love at first sight – KWH Brisbane was the first and only boutique she went to.
For her ceremony, Danni wore the Taryn/Camille gown from our BESPOKE collection.“It was just perfect for me – I think the Taryn & Camille is totally timeless! It’s so nice and simple but still every girl’s dream of the big white wedding dress without being over the top”.“
Danni wore our Georgina gown from our LUXE collection to her reception which was suprise to everyone, including her husband. “I actually had no intention on a reception dress..I tried it on and just fell in love (again)!”

Accessorising
Danni complemented her Taryn/Camille gown with a dainty Tiffany & Co. necklace and borrowed her sister’s simple, single-tier Grace Loves Lace veil.

“Find a designer that suits your style, don’t overthink it and find something you’re comfortable in. You’ll know when it’s the ONE! Or two… I absolutely loved having a second dress and couldn’t recommend it enough”.
