A Whimsical Medieval Romance at Avalon Castle: A Bridal Fashion Fairytale

Some weddings feel like scenes lifted straight from legend, and Steph and Zach’s celebration at Avalon Castle in Melbourne was exactly that. Imagine medieval whimsy wrapped in soft candlelight, a courtyard that felt like it belonged in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and a love story so cinematic it could have been penned by Tolkien himself. Guests wandered through ivy-kissed stone archways, warming their hands at a charming hot chocolate stand while the newlyweds reveled in an atmosphere that felt suspended between fantasy and reality.

And at the heart of this enchanted celebration was Steph, glowing in burgundy lipstick: rich, bold, and utterly romantic. The colour played beautifully against the castle’s moody backdrop, creating a vintage, woodland-fairy aesthetic that felt both regal and delightfully whimsical. The look was equal parts art, fashion, and fairytale.

The Lou-Lou Dip Top was the perfect choice for this magical setting. Designed with a corseted, scooped bodice and layered with hand-draped Mikado, it sculpted a silhouette that felt timeless and refined. The Basque waistline elongated Steph’s torso and cinched her waist in the most deliciously flattering way.
