A couple whose love story proves that time cannot hinder true love. Harry and Zoe were both studying when they felt that spark for one another. After losing touch, 8 years later they reconnected, and it was like no time had passed at all. “The spark we felt so many years ago when we first met, was alive and stronger than ever and it was so clear that we had fallen in love”
Harry had organised a trip to Seoul to show Zoe’s family where he grew up, however both Harry and Zoe’s parents knew this was going to be much more than a typical family vacation.
In spectacular fashion on New Years Eve overlooking the Seoul skyline, timed perfectly with the midnight fireworks – Harry got down on one knee in front of Zoe’s family and asked her to marry him.
Zoe and Harry got married at the Cop Cot Central Park in New York City.
The couple loves traveling and wanted something amazing for not only them but their friends and family. “We wanted everyone to make memories that they would hold on to and never forget! And New York was it – “where dreams are made of.”
Zoe and Harry said their vows under a cozy wooden shelter at Cop Cot Central Park. “We organised limos to transport our guests from Central Park to our reception at Public Hotel in Soho. Keeping the Melbourne vibe, all guests were treated to Espresso martinis upon arrival.
“We had our own private terrace on the 17th floor where we had cocktails and canapés while overlooking the sunset over the Manhattan skyline. The hotel had a nightclub in it too, which all the guests moved to after the rooftop and danced the night away!”
Zoe and Harry live in Melbourne and organised their entire wedding from Australia. They searched through social media until they found the right vendors.
“We are both creative and determined people. We knew we wanted it to be elegant yet simple but most of all an amazing experience for us and everyone.”
Table settings were simple and classic with candles and white hydrangeas.”
Zoe kept her hair nice and simple in a classic low ponytail, entrusting her sister to do her hair on the day as they own a hair salon in Melbourne together – Salon Lelu.
Zoe made her own bouquet the morning of the wedding with white roses tied together with extra fabric from her wedding dress – Aisha.
Zoe chose the Aisha gown from the BESPOKE collection at our Melbourne boutique in Armadale.
