Katie & Travis’ Cider House Wedding

Katie and Travis’ 2-week holiday in New Zealand had come to an end and they were back in Sydney for their last night together before Katie went back to Cairns, having a late-night chai latte. With the Opera House and Sydney Harbour in the background, Travis got down on one knee, said Katie had ‘passed the test’, which she presumes means surviving living in a van for the past 2 weeks and proposed to her.

Core Cider House in Pickering Brook set the backdrop for Katie and Travis’ wedding. The couple knew they wanted to be married somewhere near the Swan Valley and out of the city, and Core Cider House was the first place they visited and nothing after compared. “The sun was shining, people were sitting on the grass laughing and drinking delicious cider and live acoustic music was playing – it was just the best vibe, so relaxed and bright.”

Simple and sophisticated was the style inspiration for this beautiful wedding, as Katie and Travis were inspired by their stunning apple orchard venue. Touches of gold complemented the abundance of green and white floristry.

Katie saw the ‘Taryn Bodice and Camille Skirt‘ from our BESPOKE collection on our Instagram page as the collection was being launched and instantly fell in love with the gown. She called the Perth, Sydney and Melbourne boutiques with no luck as the gown wasn’t expected in time for her wedding but a lucky twist of fate saw the gown come in earlier and Katie rushed into our Perth boutique to get her dream gown. “I knew as soon as I saw it, it was THE ONE!”
