UPDATES REGARDING COVID-19
MELBOURNE BOUTIQUE TEMPORARY CLOSURE
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the temporary closure of our Armadale boutique due to Melbourne going back into lockdown from 9th July at 12am. Our boutique will remain closed for the next six weeks and tomorrow the 8th July will be our last day of trade.
Brides with appointments in the next 6 weeks are encouraged to not stress about their dress. We are in the process of calling all of our brides that fall within this 6 week period to re-schedule their appointments. This may take some time and if you still haven’t heard from us by early next week, please email email@example.com

From June 27th our NYC boutique will re-open on Fridays and Saturdays taking 1st and 2nd appointments. Brides can bring a maximum of two guests. Brides and guests must wear masks to their appointment, in line with mandatory government regulations. Check fit and pickup appointments will be scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

It’s the news we have all been waiting for – we are re-opening our boutiques!
We have changed our policies and procedures in line with our COVIDsafe plan, outlined below.

From Wednesday 20th May our opening hours will be as follows:
Thursday – Friday 11am to 4pm
Saturday 9am – 5:30pm
Temporarily CLOSED until further notice
Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
KAREN WILLIS HOLMES will be practicing social distancing in your appointment, with a reduced amount of staff and customers allowed in the store at any one time. Mandatory hand washing will take place with our staff and customers before each appointment.
Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the boutique and in each change room for your convenience. Spaces will be cleaned regularly for your safety.
You will be emailed your gown quote after your appointment to reduce unnecessary contact between staff and customers.
We always prefer pre-booked appointments – you can book an appointment time and date that suits you either online or via phone call. Appointments will be for a maximum of 1 hour and 15 minutes to allow ample cleaning time before the next bride arrives. Our booked appointments have a $50 booking fee which is redeemable with the price of your gown if you book with us.
We encourage walk-in brides to call ahead as each store has a limited capacity of how many people are allowed in-store at one time. Brides will not need to pay a $50 booking fee; however, we cannot guarantee we will have availability. If we are unable to see a bride when they walk in, we will give them options of being placed on our waiting list and let them know once we are next available or prompt them to make an appointment via our website.
Brides who would like to try a gown on in a KAREN WILLIS HOLMES boutique will be asked to complete a screening form before we accept their appointment.
Two days prior to your appointment you will receive an email with an Online Screener explaining the KWH COVIDSafe plan. The day before you are to come in-store, one of our team members will call you to confirm your appointment and to discuss our store rules.
Guests you can bring to your appointment
For now, brides are strictly allowed to bring one guest with them to their appointments. We encourage and will happily assist with FaceTime and taking photos for your loved ones who were unable to be in the appointment.
Unfortunately, if you come with any extra guests, we will have to ask them to wait outside for the duration of your appointment. We appreciate you working together with us to keep everyone in our boutique safe.

It is our responsibility to look after and protect our brides and staff while the community picks itself back up again. It is a heartbreaking decision for everyone single one of us at KAREN WILLIS HOLMES but a necessary one.
