We, KAREN WILLIS HOLMES, Bald Hills House & Chandellier Rose have teamed up together to giveaway over $13K of wedding products to someone who has experienced hardship recently. We want to give back and help make your wedding the most memorable it could be.

To great success in 2021, we initiated the campaign ‘Happily Ever After by KWH’, where we gifted 4 wedding gowns to engaged women going through life hardship. The campaign is now back in 2023 with an even more special purpose. One of our original recipients, Kym Kelly is very generously ‘paying it forward’ by donating a wedding venue package, partnering with the exquisite wedding venue Bald Hills House, located in Stanley Victoria, 3 ½ hours out of Melbourne countryside Victoria. We are also partnering with Chantelle Asciak from bridal jewellery brand Chandellier Rose, who has recently completed 700 hours of Chemotherapy with many more to go after being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma last year. Our personal relationships with people who have endured hardship has inspired us on this journey.

Who are we looking for?

We are on the hunt for someone special, someone deserving, someone who may have had a harder time than most but still managed to shine. There is no ‘real’ category on what this someone has/is going through, all we ask is for you to share a story with us, so that we can give back.

There are no categories, no measures that need to be filled, no boxes to fit into.

Enter Competition

How to enter:

1. The special someone must follow @kwhbridal, @baldhillshouse and @chandellierrose on Instagram
2. Tag a friend in the comments  on competition Instagram post who has been there for you throughout your journey
3. Share latest giveaway post to your Insta story (this is not essential due to the sensitivity of the competition but we would love you to if you feel comfortable)
4. Fill out the application form below, uploading a copy of your story, or your friends/family members story, in your own words tell us about this amazing someone. Please include pictures of yourself or your journey to support your application

Important entry requirements:

1. The special someone must reside in VIC, NSW or ACT and be willing to have their wedding hosted in Stanley Victoria.
2. The special someone must be engaged to be married

Terms & Conditions

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
2. Applications can either be made by a nominator (friends, family or acquaintances associated with the nominated bride) or the nominee themselves.
3. The nominated bride must be located in either Vic, ACT or NSW and is willing to have their wedding hosted at Bald Hills House in Stanley, Victoria.
4. The nominated bride must be engaged to be married.
5. An online application must be filled out to completion and submitted via online application on KAREN WILLIS HOLMES website by the entry close.
6. Online applicants agree to receiving KAREN WILLIS HOLMES marketing communications
7. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted via online form from 9am AEDT 17th March. Ends 11:59pm AEDT 31st March. All online entries must be received by 31st March at 11:59pm AEST
8. The winning nomination will be selected at the discretion of KAREN WILLIS HOLMES, Bald Hills House & Chandellier Rose team based on which story they deem the most deserving.
9. Vouchers are valid for 2 years, expiring in March 2025. *venue must be booked in within 12 months
10. The application process will include areas for input which will allow you to include information that verifies your story/hardship (this may include photos, receipts or references).
11. A) A winner will be selected to win AUD $4000 towards their KAREN WILLIS HOLMES gown of their choice, not including accessories (veils or belts) unless the total amount of the dress and accessories do not exceed $4000AUD.
12. A basic fitting package is included for the winning bride in locations where we have in-house seamstresses (Sydney & Melbourne). Further alterations are additional.
13. This is non-transferable or redeemable for cash or any other product.
14. Brides who win outside of Sydney or Melbourne will have to source their own seamstress at their own cost.
15. The venue package (weekday wedding only) will include everything that is currently listed on the package description that can be found here. Full terms and conditions of venue will be discussed with winner upon booking in date of wedding.
16. Chandellier Rose bridal accessory package of their choice to the value of $1000. Chantelle custom makes most of her pieces and is currently undergoing extensive cancer treatment. Some items she carries stock of, however, some pieces are subject to Chantelle’s availability depending on winner’s wedding date.
17. X 4 VIP tickets to either One Fine Day Melbourne or One Fine Day Sydney  Prize valued at $236 and includes entry to One Fine Day Wedding Fair, 3 x cocktails each, canapés, exclusive access to the VIP Lounge, front row seats at the Runway Show and a VIP Gift Bag.
18. Some services and products are subject to availability.
19. Through submitting an application to the #HappilyEverAfter giveaway, you agree to the sharing and distribution of your story and application content on the KAREN WILLIS HOLMES, CHANDELLIER ROSE and BALD HILLS HOUSE website and social media platforms to their community.
20. Winner will be notified by email within 7 days following the selection of the Winner. KAREN WILLIS HOLMES, CHANDELLIER ROSE & BALD HILLS HOUSE shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 2 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by the Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (at KAREN WILLIS HOLMES’ sole discretion) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
21. By entering this giveaway, you agree to sharing all content from your wedding, and entering in the giveaway constitutes permission for their wedding content to be used by KAREN WILLIS HOLMES and Bald Hills House for advertising purposes if you are selected as a winner unless prohibited by law.
