Some weddings feel like they belong on the pages of a glossy magazine, effortless, stylish, and just a little bit unexpected. Charlotte and James’ wedding was exactly that. Chic and simple at first glance, but with just enough edge to make it unforgettable. Think the kind of cool, modern romance that would fit right alongside a perfectly curated Pinterest board or a Vogue street-style moment: elegant, relaxed, and full of personality.
The atmosphere was playful and warm, with fun-loving guests who clearly understood the assignment when it came to style. Champagne flowed, laughter echoed across the venue, and in what might have been the most iconic moment of the day, the couple’s beloved dog made a grand appearance dressed in a tiny, tailored suit. It felt like something straight out of the kind of internet moment that instantly goes viral charming, stylish, and impossible not to smile at.
Charlotte’s bridal look followed the same philosophy: minimal but striking, timeless yet fashion-forward.
The Roberta bodice is one of those designs that instantly transforms a silhouette. Designed as a stunning long-line bodice with a basque waist finish, Roberta beautifully elongates the torso while highlighting the waist to perfectly complement the figure. The carefully placed design lines bring a modern yet classic feel, creating structure and shape while maintaining elegance. Her straight neckline sculpts the bust beautifully, giving the bodice a sleek, contemporary finish. Fully boned for support and structure, Roberta provides the kind of architectural shaping that creates an incredible silhouette while still feeling comfortable and secure. It’s a piece that celebrates the body with confidence: polished, refined, and undeniably chic.
Charlotte added an extra layer of dimension to her Roberta bodice by incorporating the Evie wrap delicately at the bust. The soft draping enhanced the neckline and added depth to the structured bodice, creating a beautifully balanced look.
The Giannaskirt continues the story with matching draping that flows seamlessly from the bodice into the skirt. The lines feel intentional and clean, creating a silhouette that feels modern without overwhelming the bride with excessive volume. This is perfect for brides who love the drama of a ballgown but prefer a sleeker interpretation, Gianna avoids heavy ruching or gathering while still delivering that beautiful sense of movement. A modern side split adds a touch of attitude, revealing the leg while walking and giving the perfect opportunity to showcase a statement shoe. And perhaps one of the most beloved details of all: side pockets. Stylish and practical, they mean Charlotte could move freely through her day without needing a clutch.
To finish the ensemble, she chose the Tom, Tommy & Thomas three-tier veil combination. As the name suggests, the statement veil is made up of three individual pieces, each placed on its own comb. This clever design allows brides to change their look throughout the day by swapping layers in and out, perfect for transitioning from ceremony to reception.
Charlotte opted to remove the longest layer, Thomas, keeping the Tom and Tommy tiers for a look that felt light, playful, and perfectly aligned with the relaxed elegance of the celebration.
Together, the Roberta & Gianna gown created a bridal look that felt effortlessly powerful. The long-line structure of the bodice flowed seamlessly into the modern draping of the skirt, creating a silhouette that was elegant, contemporary, and incredibly flattering.
The side split added a modern edge, the pockets brought a playful practicality, and the layered veil offered a touch of bridal drama. Combined with the Evie wrap detail, the entire look felt editorial yet completely wearable: the perfect reflection of Charlotte’s style.
As the evening unfolded, the celebration became exactly what Charlotte and James had envisioned being joyful, relaxed, and full of unforgettable little moments. Guests danced late into the evening, glasses were raised again and again, and their impeccably dressed dog continued to steal hearts wherever he went.
