Ashton & Scott’s ceremony took place in Wanaka, New Zealand, such a picturesque location for the couple to exchange vows.

We spent three years navigating long-distance—me back in New Zealand for university , Scott in Brisbane for his studies—through time zones, flights, and even a pandemic. Finally, we were reunited, and life led us on another move across the country for Scott’s work.

We knew we wanted our wedding to be personal, so we chose my childhood home in Wanaka, my parents’ property, as the place where we’d say “I do.” It was the most magical day, surrounded by our closest family and friends, with a dance floor that absolutely went off!
