From meeting and chatting over Instagram, to being inseparable after their first date; Perrie and Mark’s relationship is most certainly a new-age love story.
Mark proposed to Perrie at Mrs. Macquarie’s chair in Sydney. After the proposal Mark organised a picnic for them both and later on organised a manicure for Perrie so her nails would look nice in the proposal photos!
“We got married at the University of Sydney. It was the only venue we looked at. We were drawn to the beauty and old-world charm of the building and it reminded us a little of Harry Potter! It made our day feel so magical!”
Perrie and Mark decided to keep the theme classical and timeless to complement the already beautiful surrounding of the venue.
“We decided to add no colour and stick to blacks and whites only. The day turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined.”
Perrie found her beautiful Blake and Melanie combination from our BESPOKE collection of wedding dresses at our flagship store in Alexandria, Sydney.
Perrie knew exactly what she wanted in a wedding gown: a big skirt to achieve a full princess look, and she found exactly what she was looking for on our KWH website.
“I was so excited when I saw the dress that I booked in an appointment on my lunch break. The dress I chose was the only dress I tried on and I knew right away that it was the dress for me! I loved how much volume the skirt had!”
However, the highlight of Perrie and Mark’s big day was “Being able to announce to our closest friends and family that we are expecting a baby girl in May 2020.”
Perrie wore our KWH Mantilla veil to finish off her bridal look.
“I loved the lace detail on my veil. It was so elegant!”
“Trying on a lot of wedding dresses can be really overwhelming. Have a think about the venue and what sort of theme you would like to go with. Looking at our venue, I automatically knew that I wanted something full, timeless and elegant. It helped me narrow down my search a lot!”
“To me, it means not being able to imagine your life without the other person in it. My partner is my best friend, my rock and my happiness all in one. When I think of him – I think of the word love.”
